Programme Objective

This Facilitation Skills training programme uses of a range of techniques and methods which enable groups/teams to discover, to participate and to experience. Facilitation is a role that employees are increasingly required to perform, primarily because of the needs of employees and the changing nature of work activities in organizations.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Improve their knowledge of facilitation and understand the role and skills of the facilitator
  • Gain an understanding of and develop their own skills of facilitation
  • Build trust within the group
  • Display assertive facilitative behaviours

Programme Methodology

Pre-work, Facilitator input, Group discussion, Group exercises, Questionnaires, Video presentation, Coaching and feedback – facilitator and peer.
